Our scope of work
The SGS team was responsible for the relocation of a Wemhöner KT plant from Windmöller GmbH in Augustdorf / GER to MeisterWerke Schulte GmbH, 60 km away in Rüthen. The relocation included the mechanical and electrical dismantling of the plant along with the packaging of plant components and their loading onto trucks. Around 30 transporters, including several special transporters, conveyed the machines and plant components to the new location. Our SGS team then undertook the mechanical assembly and electrical installation of the coating plant. The project started at the end of January and within nine weeks the approx. 320 tonne KT plant was ready for operation at our customer's site.
The experience gained in relocating more than 10 KT plants is the basis for successful relocation projects of this kind. So once again we were able to relocate a plant to the complete satisfaction of everyone involved in the project.
