Dust extraction system realized in 18 months of assembly time
The mechanical assembly and electrical installation of the steelworks dust extraction system took a total of 18 months to complete. As a first step, our SGS team dismantled the two existing electrostatic precipitator systems with a total weight of 1,000 tonnes of steel. Then we took charge of the new steelworks dust extraction plant assembly of around 1,200 tonnes of steel and piping construction, and the electrical installation. Our SGS team, consisting of 25 qualified skilled workers led by SGS project manager Christian Hatzmann, carried out exemplary work. In addition to their expertise, the managers at Deutsche Edelstahlwerke especially appreciated the on-time and uncomplicated assembly process by SGS.
